Privacy

We make invitations, so we need some personal details to do it. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

• Invitation details you give us: names, family details, event dates, times and venues, photographs, music choices, language and wording.
• Contact details so we can reach you about your order: usually an email address and, if you share it, a phone number.
• Files you upload, such as photographs or reference documents for your invitation.
• Order records: what you ordered, amounts, payment status and the history of your order. Card and bank details are handled by our payment provider (Razorpay); we do not receive or store them.
• Guest replies, for published invitations that use RSVP or wishes: the names and messages guests choose to send, kept for the hosts. On our sample invitations, replies stay on the guest’s own device and are not sent to us.

How we use it

To make, revise, publish and host your invitation; to talk to you about it; and to keep the records a business needs. We do not sell personal information, and we do not put your details or private order links into analytics.

Who else is involved

Our hosting and payment providers process data on our behalf so the service can work. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also covered by WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy.

Measurement and cookies

The site works without tracking. If measurement tools are turned on, they will only run after you allow them, and you can say no.

How long we keep things (proposed)

The periods below are a proposal awaiting Meloya’s approval:

• Your invitation stays online for your package’s hosting period (6 months with Essential, 12 months with Signature).
• Uploaded files are deleted 90 days after delivery.
• Guest replies are kept until 30 days after hosting ends.
• Order records are kept for accounting, for as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see or correct the details we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete your uploaded files at any time. Message us and we’ll help.
